Pathetic right? This lent thing is becoming harder than I thought! Last night I went to bed at 7:35 because I could t have liquor....today I have coffee and spring water because the only place remotely close to my job is McDonalds....and I can have fast food :-(. This weekend I'll be in the city and I know I'll be tempted all day, but if theres a will there's a way. Speaking of the city....I really need to start looking for apartments. I love love lovvvveeee Hoboken but it's super expensive. I think I can afford a studio...so cheers to looking :-)

Start O' Lent

I'm not even Catholic, but I sure do celebrate as if I was....were...(I swear I can't get this grammar thing). This year it's very important. I am giving up alcohol, fast food and junk food. It seems a little dumb, but I figured that giving up my biggest temptations will help me get closer to God. These items have been a very big part of my life.  I have to start living like this life will be over soon so make the best outta it, even if I'm a hundredaire...with a millionaire taste....with a Marc Jacob purse and Old Navy clothes....with YSL shoes and $20 jeans! You get the idea . I spend a lot of time and money on easy outs and not really focusing on the bigger picture I guess. So for this lent I give up some of the bullshit....


It's a small step for life. I want to hold on to something worth wild because time is short! Life is short....most of the men that are attracted to me are short! I have short patience....I have short hair for crying out loud. Wish me luck....

Food for thought

Yesterday I went to visit my cousin in NY with my aunts. Had a good time and I'm happy I went. I ended up having a conversation with my cousin about life...and it had me thinking. Change isnt something that comes naturally or easy. As in life, change is a process. In order for one to change, one needs to fully commit to the process (sorry for rambling). So thus, my process must start! I don't have an eternity to make things happen the way I want them to in this life. I was dealt this hand, and by God, I will play it.

The word Selfish has been thrown around all my life. I started to believe that was who I was. But I'm not...I've done too many selfless actions to be that. I can't rattle these off the top of by head because I dont keep count. I just do them. I will not be the one person with, and see those I love without. However, providing for others when you can barely stand on your own two feet is just the same as being selfish to me. Or youfish! I care too much about you...and forget about myself. I see those I love getting lazy. They know I will do it if it needs to be done. They've manipulated me into thinking I don't do enough...so I go beyond my own capacity to just do it. The small tasks are the most upsetting. It's the fact that the task I do is being continuously done on my part and no one tries anymore. Baby steps aren't being taken by these people so they never learn to do it for themselves! Everything I want bad I work hard to get. If I don't get it...I either didnt want it as badly as i thought, or the want never turned into a need! I need some SPACE. I just really need to stop saying it and do it! Change is a process! That process to push yourself into your desired transformation takes time. The time is here....and change is good!

Watching RHOA reunion...hmmm! I thought Nene was a bully but shes not that bad. Life needs more "realist" type females. Im holding my comments until Apprentice. I don't really like Star Jones so I'm curious to see Nene and her clash. But newhooooo shes a firecracker!

Today u bought a Nook! Id love to give you a review but i dont have wifi!!! So until i can steal some from Starbucks, ill keep you posted on how it is. It looks cool! But so does breast augmentation...in other news made an Arnold Palmer with sweet tea vodka and lemonade! So excuse me as I go vomit! Til next time

Bucket list

You're never too young to start a bucket list! Mine consist of over priced items that I can only buy one of. Ultimately my bucket list is going to leave me broke. I think the first might be going to a concert by myself. This isn't really an addition to my bucket list but something that I'm just going to have to do. I want to see The Gaga! We will see how this unfolds!

I just viewed my blog and boy is it boring! I need to change y wall paper ASAP, but don't know how to! Needs a little color....like dark purple! On Sunday a few friends and I had a Singles Dinner for Valentine's Day eve.....it was a success! I made baked ziti....delicious!!!

What's for dinner?

Hey hey hey! Today is super slow at work and I've already added over 100 items I can't afford into my cart at luisaviaroma.com and polyvore.com! God if I were rich I'd be broke right now. I actually ended up finding a pair I was set to buy, but they were sold out :-(. I think it's a sign though....they're actually ugly, but in a different pretty way. It would have been my second go at Jeffrey Campbell shoes, but from the reviews it would be a perfect fit. Here they are:



Cute weird right? Whatever I don't care about the opinions! I'll probably wear them once, since my wardrobe lacks personality :-(. Who says a tshirt and jeans with killer shoes can't make an outfit.

Speaking of can't...did you see the Grammys? I respect all artist since they made it, but I thought the show was a little lack luster. But what wasn't lack luster was....




These are the shoes that Gwyneth Paltrow wore during her performance with Cee-Lo Green...love her....love these Louboutins! I think that's the only performance that stood out because of those amazzzzing pieces of art work! However congrats to Espadrille Spintoza...or whatever her name is! I think I'll give a listen to her album! If it's anything like I'm hoping it's a fusion of Chrisette Michele, Nora Jones, Ledisi and Corrine Bailey Raye!! Where were they at??? Other than Nora Jones....where's the real music? Congrats to her!!!! I went off a tangent and got lost....what was I talking about?? Oh yeah potatoes....I want a baked potato with bacon and a steak on top....yes that's what I'll have for dinner. And that concludes this blog update!

New Yob

This is my first post on my piece of shit iPhone...today is the last day of my first week of my new job! Nope, that didn't make sense. The new gig is cool, I really like it...hope I get to stay awhile. Everyone speaks in periodic table and Latin, but hey maybe one day I'll be able to translate. Nah, I'll stick to bad grammar and incorrect English, uncorrect...whatever!

And It begins......

What is the point of having a sink that has HOT and COLD water in two different faucets? ....do I have to move back and forth to get WARM water? WORST INVENTION EVER! Since this my "first" blog since I deleted the last two...hello! I have designated this "new" (I love quotation marks) blog towards complete randomness. PS...this is not my bathroom...it is from the internet (dont sue me...because im in debt)
